This teacher meant well, but unfortunately his teaching style wasn't the type that get students the kind of help they need. His homework he assigned was very specific with cover pages. I honestly wish I never took this class :(

This was the worst teacher I have ever had, I ended up not even bothering to show up after the first test, he assigns way too much homework, lectures are boring, STAY AWAY if you want to pass calc.

DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS WITH THIS PROFESSOR! Don't even consider Lippman as your last resort. Just don't. I usually am not so harsh with rating teachers, but for the sake of future students grades and time, they have to know just how terrible of a teacher he is. He's a nice guy BUT CANNOT TEACH. Even if you're a math genius you will probably fail.

He probably means well, but honestly I felt like he wasn't even teaching. He would just read off the overhead slides & he doesn't explain things really well. Also even if you have 100% as your class grade if you fail the final you will fail the course. He gets off topic way too much & for way too long. Don't take this class if you can't self teach.

Worst professor of all times. Sweet guy, yes, however he can not teach. Faces the board the entire time, mumbles often, and can not explain anything he is teaching. One time he printed out the wrong midterms, went to the copier to print new ones which took forever, and instead of rescheduling the midterm he made us take it after losing 30 minutes.

DON'T DO IT ! unless you are a math genius don't do it. save yourself. He's picky with the homework, he grades horribly, and his teaching method is the WORST EVER ! Half the class fails the midterms. He also goes on these horrible and boring tangents everyday, that no one finds relevant. You have been warned !

To pass his class, you need to have at least a cumulative HW percentage of 51% and pass the final exam. So, even if you just mess up on either HWs or Final, then HE WILL FAIL YOU. He won't even take into consideration your midterms either, just fails you.

Very bad teacher. I say only pick Mr. Lippman as a Math teacher for your last resort. He's a good person, but terrible at teaching. He doesn't know how to teach and doesn't explain what he's doing. I ask him questions after class and he doesn't bother to help me. Do not get Mr. Lippman as a teacher!

He is not an easy professor. You might not do as well in the first exam....but if you keep on putting your efforts studying for his class and do well in the mid term and final. He will see your progress and might end up giving you a good grade. Its not an easy class...just give sometime for study and you will definitely end up with a good grade.

I can tell you that I know everything about this guys life from attending class, ex he went to U.C irvine, bought a home that appreciated in value, taught computer programming, his roofers didnt nail the plywood to his roof, got a job editing math books,u get the point
