He's a great professor. He explains concepts so clearly. You get three quizzes and three tests all semester. As long as you go to class and pay attention you'll do great. He posts all the slides. Definitely take this professor.

Lectures are so boring. Study the power points a couple days before the test if you want to pass. You have to work for it. Take a different class to fulfill this topic area.

I read the reviews and thought there is no way this guy is that bad. The material is not hard, hes just annoying. He talks about stuff that is unrelated to learning like animal testing and FAS. He asks common sense questions. His personality is just annoying. And he always keeps you till 930 which is right when the off campus bus leaves

He is an extremely boring teacher. He can spend a two and a half hour class on 4 pp slides. he over re-iterates everything and has a kind of harsh personality. No study guides, 3 quizzes and 3 exams. Too set in his ways..

Terrible teacher! He takes forever to get through 2 powerpoint slides and is not open to students suggestions. He is so boring and is stuck in his teaching ways. There are 3 quizes and 3 exams that are okay but does not provide a study guide. I wish he wasn't so boring with the way he teaches the material. Beware...

Very boring lectures, he dumbs it down way too much and spends forever on one example. The test was really easy and there was a bonus question but he's such a harsh grader that I ended up getting a B. he literally circled random words on the essays and wrote -1 without any feedback. He never let's us leave early but we do get 10 minute breaks.

He is very boring but he's nice. The lectures make you want to fall asleep and he takes forever telling one example related to the material. Tests aren't so bad, he actually gives hints in the multiple choise and always gives an extra credit section on test. Read the book, it helps to better understand the material. Ok class, just boring!

Professor is very nice, but BORING. Reads powerpoint slides. Tries to be funny, but misses the mark. Really wish he would have taught more interesting aspects of psyc of learning and included material not just on powerpoint slides...there was no motivation to pay attention.

He gives you the powerpoints for the whole semester. Study those. Also gives 5 points extra credit on each exam. Gives a 20 point EC opportunity to memorize a page of the book. Pretty easy class, extremely boring though.

Don't buy the book. Study the powerpoints and you will get an A on the test. He is verrrrry boring but very straightforward, really only tests you on what he teaches which I liked.

He doesn't care about his students at all, he only has this job for a paycheck. He could be a really good teacher if he gave a damn about his class. Not to mention his lecture on critical thinking was hilarious because he is the most close minded person i've ever met.

Its a pretty boring subject but he tries to make it interesting. You'll probably catch yourself having at least one nap.Tests and quizzes are pretty straight forward. He's pretty lenient, Although he "technically" doesn't give a curve several questions/answers on the test are giveaways. The book isn't necessary but very helpful if you miss class.

Grades only on tests and quizzes. Material is easy to understand and there's not that much info to learn but he spends alot of time going over things. It can be hard to stay awake, but he tries to be funny, the material is just a little boring. No reviews for tests and doesn't curve- but tests are fine if you study. He sends the powerpoint via email

Bland. Reads notes, and gave one off topic lecture on FAS that bored everyone to tears on halloween. Not bad teacher, but mostly reads overheads and talks of evils of TV. He's nice enough but I've yet to want to go to class, and everyone says the same thing when they get there. Not an exciting night class, snooze. somewhat clear.

Very easy class. Very boring class format. Test were more than do-able. Never studied for more than 30mins for a test or quiz (and most of the time it was during the 30mins prior to the class itself) and the lowest grade i got was a 90. If you want a class that you can get an A in easily, then take this class with him!!
