Schwitzer is the most charismatic professor I've ever had in my life. His methods are different than what most people will be used to. His ethics class is a must take.

This class seemed to go on for so long. Very tedious repetition of the same concepts over and over. Attendance was required, which I think was ridiculous, especially considering how easy the concepts were. Schwitzer has a huge ego and loves to talk about his martyrdom at CNN. He seems to think that he is the savior of all journalists.

Awesome class!! He brings in wonderful guest speakers, usually area media professionals with great credentials. Enjoyed being in class, relaxing, fun atmosphere. Not hard to get a good grade if go to class, do the assignments, and review notes before a test.

i am not a journalism or pr major, but this class was super interesting. gary makes it so awesome. he's a great teacher, although it's odd that he uses his laptop so much in class when he seems to know nothing about it... in summation: really easy, really fun.

Media Ethics was sometimes interesting although redundant. His favoritism shows toward the girl-next-door types and alpha males.

Gary opened the door to tv news! Incredibly idealistic about it, that's why he didn't survive I think. But sets a firm foundation for the advanced reporting classes.

Decent teacher. spent too much time pointing out the obvious and stroking his ego. Material was great but would be more effective with a better Prof behind it.

I've wanted to be a journalist my entire life, but after studying it for a while at the U I became uncertain because of all the technocalities. Schwitzer motivated me again to be the best broadcast journalist I can be. GREAT professor!

His media ethics class was very interesting. Mad man about health journalism. Essay tests are easy if you attended class.
