Comment:

Simundza is everything you could ask for of a Calculus teacher. If you struggle with Calculus or haven't taken it before take him. If you try and care youll do well and understand the topics in depth. He may be one of the best Math Teachers I have ever had and I think I'd still be lost in Calculus without him. Will take him every opportunity I get

I feel Simundza wasn't the best sometimes. At first he wasn't bad because the material was more familiar, but then he got confusing to me and could put me to sleep no problem. He started giving TONS of work toward the end. Sometimes he would say things that sounded kind of rude. His modeling assignments were SUPER hard, even if you get calculus

Took his Calc 1 class in the Fall. He really knows his stuff and made the class intersting. The extra credit was great and enabled me to get an A . I am taking him again for Calc 2

I would take Probability and Stats with another Professor save your GPA. His tests are long but you only get 50 min. AVOID ! he is the worst math professor I have had! I didn't fail, but be ready to read your textbook to understand anything, he doesn't care if you don't understand.

Very clear explanation of every subject he teaches. I took him for differential equations. pay attention and you will get an A.

Loved his class, very very fair grader, always grades for your benefit. Tons of extra credit, had above one hundred in the class. May be difficult for people who don't find Calc naturally easy as he isn't the best at explaining things.

Material is fully and clearly explained, lectures are available online, and the WebWork homeworks really allow you to grasp the material before tests or quizzes. The modeling assignments seem daunting at first, but after he reviews the first one you'll likely understand them, though they're still difficult. Grading is firm but fair.

He's an excellent teacher. Definitely knows the material, and teaches it a manageable rate during his lectures. The only hard part to this class was the modeling assignments, which were very difficult to do on your own or without the help of google ( if you know what to look for). Do the HW and modeling assignments and you'll pass no problem.

He gives out hard work, but if you do it and follow along with him in class you will pass every test he gives you. He is excellent at explaining things. By far the best math teacher at Wentworth.

Lectures are very boring and move at a weird and choppy pace. He definitely knows what he's talking about, and if you ask for help he'll give it to you, but he is not very effective at conveying the information in class.

He's great, I'd totally recommend him for Calc II. Good explanations, and adds 5 points to your grade for showing up! He's the designer of MATH295; I doubt you could do better with anyone else. Most observant teacher I've ever had too, knows everybody in class and how you're doing. Don't shop for an easier teacher, they don't exist in Calc II!

Deff the best calc teacher I've had here so far. Easy to follow and understand and he gives plenty of partial credit on exams and quizzes. Usually spends the first half of class going over homework questions too which is nice. As long as you don't skip excessively and ask questions, you're all set. I'll take him for any future classes that I can.

Fantastic teacher. I took him for both Discrete Math and Prob n' Stats. Does a good job covering and explaining the material, sometimes the course gets a little bland, but I don't think that is his fault.
