Hard class, nice guy. Attendance is essential to passing. Lectures are not very thorough but you need all the clarification possible. Lectures are based off homework so if you don't do it, he can't really help what you don't understand. Tests are hard if you don't study or keep up on material.

Wonderful man! It's evident that he has a deep knowledge of math. The way he explains concepts makes them easy to understand. He gives out extra credit now and then, so take advantage of that! Tests are pretty much what he says they will be. Be sure to stay up on the homework even though it's not mandatory so you'll be better prepared for exams.

He is one funny man. He will keep you entertained with his witty stories, his comb over, and his overall peaceful persona. He instructs with clarity and precision. I leave his class feeling rejuvenated. He likes to talk about his parrot, Moses.

Class was a little difficult, however I was able to do well because of previous knowledge and utilizing the Math Center. Studying for tests was a little difficult, but do plenty of homework problems from that chapter. Also do the extra credit worksheets he passes out. The funnest times were when he told stories about Moses!

Prof. Wood was the best math teacher I've ever had! He's a nice guy, cares about the students, and tells some good stories (make sure you show up on pi day =) You definitely should do the homework, it helps for the test. And if you ever have any questions he's often avaliable and quick to respond to emails (even on nights and weekends).

Dr. Wood is a great guy. I never had Calc II, but his teaching style made it pretty easy to understand. His tests can be pretty hard, so make sure to do plenty of practice problems beforehand. He curves the grades at the end of the semester, and often gives extra credit problems. If you haven't had a decent math background, don't take his class.

He is definitely a really nice guy and he tries to help but sometimes he makes you feel dumb for asking questions. I often got confused in class because he would skip steps assuming that we could follow and they were unnecessary. I worked really hard though and ended up with a good grade in the class.
