Gaylen loves teaching, communicates his craft, cares about his students sets reasonable expectations for students and theei immersion into art. Gaylen is that teacher - truly gifted! Although I withdrew due to a pinched nerve - it was the toughest decision to make regarding classes. I will make an effort to seek him out as a teacher in the future.

simply put he is one of the best teachers i've known. Not quick to judge but doesn't get taking advantage of. IF your willing to learn he'll give back as much as you put into it.

This teacher requires a lot of homework. But not more homework than I would expect from any drawing class. Honestly, to get better at art you need to practice, if you dont want to than dont take art at a college. He is a very cool guy and teaches very well.
