Comment:

Geetha was a great teacher over the course of the semester. She really makes sure you understand the material and tries to teach the information in different ways. She is also very understanding and cares for her students. One time I forgot my calculator on an exam day and she let me borrow one, so yeah she's a real gem.

Maybe I just took her on a bad semester. I had a really hard time understanding her. I get she must go fast to cover material, however I ended up teaching myself. Also didn't have an SI instructor until mid semester. Went to every class. Met during office hours, was not helpful. If you really struggle with math do not take her.

Comment:

Initially got an F in calculus, took Geetha and got an A. Best math teacher I've ever had in my life. Never seen a professor care so much about her students. Do not miss class, study for the exams, do the Webassign homework. She does lots of reviews and practice to make sure you understand everything. Grading is very fair. AMAZING PROFESSOR!

Comment:

Geetha is one of the best in the department. Her accent is thick but she is actually very clear when she speaks. She makes sure we know the content and goes over homework in class if we do not understand a problem. Her exams are rough but if you pay attention and take good notes her class is actually fairly easy for a Calc III course.

Quizzes progressively got harder. Tests were pretty hard and didn't always represent what we did in class. A lot of webassign. She would also push quizzes back if the class didn't feel prepared for it. Very nice lady but this class was difficult

Comment:

Great Professor! Does a really good job of making the student understand what's being taught. Homework every week on Web Assign, but if you need an extension, she'll give you one. Has an accent but can be easily understood. If you want a teacher that will really help you learn the stuff taught choose her.

Geetha is an amazing teacher and is a super nice person in general! She printed out notes for the class every day that we went through and wrote out together. She made a pretty difficult course a lot easier because of her awesome notes! We had homework every week but it was never a lot. Would highly recommend her for any math course.

I am not good at math at all, so definitely had to work for the grade. she drops lower quiz grades which helps. definitely need to make sure you understand the basics

Her accent isn't bad, but she talks so quickly!! She rushes through her lectures and doesn't give enough examples for easy understanding. I'm not sure this is her fault with the times she is given, though. She is, however, really nice. If you need help, she is always there. Her feedback is really nice and her homework assignments are very short.

Lectures almost every class but has good notes. If you show your work on quizzes and exams she will give you partial credit which helps a ton. Always go to class because she will just refer you to the book if you need notes. Finish home work early, take notes in class, listen to everything she says. Her accent is heavy at first but gets better.

Geetha is a smart woman. You can tell she really knows what she's teaching and wants everyone to succeed. Quizzes are pretty easy, but studying is definitely necessary for the tests. A lot of Webassign homework, but there is opportunity for extra credit on every assignment. Really organized, nice and helpful. Take her if you can!

Professor Geetha is an awesome teacher! She really knows the material and you can tell she enjoys teaching. Her quizzes and test are tough, but webassign homework and practice questions really help you prepare on your own and she is always there to answer questions. I learned a lot and hope I can take her again in the future!

Geetha is a great professor who genuinely cares about her students learning something. Her in-class examples are very good and covers all the bases, but she speeds through material quickly so make sure you can keep up. She can fill up a whiteboard in two minutes and then erase it again in 10 seconds flat, so be sure to practice your speed notes.

She is a great teacher who will answer any questions and makes sure that students understand the material. She has an accent but it is easy to understand. Her tests are hard, but not impossible if you show up and pay attention in class. Attendance is part of your grade so. She also uses webssign for homework which I like, but some don't.

If you struggle with math, you might have mixed results in her class. Her teaching style and pace is definitely tailored for higher level students. She is friendly,and knowledgeable. Yet, I ended up learning more from SI, and my tutor than her. She's a great professor, just not if you are already challenged by math.

It takes you a while to catch on to her accent, but very nice, friendly and fair! She will work with you on anything. If you put forth the effort, you will do well. I highly recommend if you have the chance, to take her as a professor.

Geetha is very helpful and probably the best math prof I've had! She does go fast and you need to pay attention so you don't get lost, but she will answer any question and do as many examples as you need. Quiz every week-easy! and tests are not bad as long as you know formulas. A very sweet woman who is willing to help anyone!

Probably one of the best math professors at UWW! shes very clear, and will do anything to help you understand the material. One thing is he accent is hard to understand... but after a few classes you get used to it!
