Horrible class. Could have been good information, but he was clear as mud. Never answered any question straight forward, and was never specific about things he counted MAJOR points off for. Unsympathetic about any problem you may have. Very advertising biased. Expected PR students to know everything ADV students do.

Comment:

I took Kincaid for the integrated pr/adv class. And he is HARD. And frustrating. He only answers questions with questions. I never had any idea what I'd get on my cases. Going into office hours for grade explanations was pointless, he's so fuzzy about it all. But in the end, this was probably the most useful class I took in PR at UT.

There is no fooling around with Kincaid. You have to work hard to earn a good grade in his classes. I would highly recommend becoming involved with his out-of-class activities as well. You will never lose touch with him if you do... and that is a VERY good thing!

Gene is a great resource, and an excellent teacher. Do avoid him for 369 if you're opposed to work. Take him if you want the real life experience, and for your resume. I graduated four years ago and we still talk. GREAT GUY!
