Bad text, worse integration of text to test. She has rage issues. Worst grade I got in the whole year and I think it was unfair because the tests were awful. I found class unhelpful and she talked to the class like we were in grade 2. There was also a comment made about how we were underachievers because of the low quiz average. DISAPPOINTING

I really liked her at first, until she started teaching her opinions that weren't relative to the class (especially since I disagreed and her defense to them were weak). Only about 10% of her exam questions, whereas the rest at text book, so its definitely a must for her class.

Beware! I love education and psychology but this teacher makes it feel like you're smashing your head against a brick wall. Ex. First day of class I asked if she put her pp notes on blackboard. She replied that she tried that one year but no one came to class so now she doesn't. Shoulda been my hint to what kind of teacher she was.

She is the worst prof I have had to date! She takes every opportunity to trick you on exams and takes pleasure in low grades. She also tries to "psyc" you into failing by constantly reminding you "how often people fail her very challanging exams". There are way better teachers to take this class from!!!! Get out if you have her!

I would have to say that Dr.J is an awesome prof!! She draws from her own experiences to make the lessons more applicable.She is a very professional lady and if I have the chance to participate in another of her classes I would have no hesitation whatsoever!

Take this class from someone else. Everyone says this is an easy class, but it isnt with her. She is high on herself and has strange ways of doing things. Who actually requires their students to go in a chat room at 8am and talk about a case study. Not only do you do this chat but she marks what you say, and she doesnt give the marks away.

i thought that this course would be fun and interesting, especially from a teacher with so much credentials. however, i found that she was UNHELPFUL. even when i asked for extra help after doing everything she requested and more in the class, she advised me to "study harder". what kind of help is that? and she teaches us to be better teacher?

Dr. J has been my worst teacher yet. The content of the class is quite hard, but mostly b/c she is such a terrible teacher. She goes through it too quickly and is not willing to help unless you go and see her in her office hours only. She is horrible and I do not recommend her for a teacher.

I DO NOT reccommend taking this class. Dr. J delivers her lectures poorly and seems caught up in herself. I did pretty good in this class but it was still my worst mark and I put way more effort into this class than any other class. She is just not teacher material.

This professor is a great teacher and a great researcher too. I feel privileged to have a teacher that does research and aspire toward her greatness. I frequently find her research articles when I search the web or the library for articles for my projects in other classes.
