I spent one semester my senior year of high school learning from Dr. Peden, and I couldnt be happier with her. She is very willing to work with her students, and is so supportive of not only your academic success but also your personal success. As long as you are willing to put in the work and participate, it will be a wonderful experience.

She is a wonderful professor! The class is half french and half culture. Language was very easy, but the culture exams were sort of difficult. Just really had to study the slides for her culture, and had some oddly worded questions. Loved her class! She's hilarious and will work with you!

Genèvieve is the best. She is nice, funny, and really cares about her students. You're only allowed to miss 2 or 3 classes without losing participation but she gives extra credit and also, you want to go to her class! I've now taken two classes with her and learned so much and really enjoyed both classes.

genvieve is WONDERFUL if you are commited to learning french and have an interest in it. having 344 with her was extremely useful, especially for anyone planning to study abroad. she is very helpful and willing to talk outside of class. she is also approchable, understanding, and caring- make sure to put effort into her class

Out of all the professors of French I've had, Peden was by far the worst. I was placed a little too low in her class and if I tried to expand on what knowledge I already had, she would insist that I do the simple things that everyone else was doing. For God's sake, don't end verbs in -ant or she'll have a fit.
