He really knows his stuff-- but can be intimidating and grumpy-- degrading to students who give wrong answers. The final was not that bad and he doesn't mark that hard-- which is nice since the final was worth 100%. As I said before, he really knows what he's talking about. Attend class and take good notes, you'll be fine.

Normally a great prof (I've had him before) but he kind of gave up with this class. Talked only to half of the room (his back was to half the class more often than not). Spoke quieter than normal, again no powerpoint notes or anything other than lecture to work off of, horribly written text, oh and drank during the final. Lovely.

Great, hilarious, engaging... should've taught IR instead of Wetzel - I learned more about collective bargaining through England. Tested on exactly what he teaches you - read the text before class and it all comes together nicely. Don't memorize stats.

Attend class. The textbook is a good basis and it's really mostly what you're tested on but attend class to gain a better understanding of employment law and where it's headed these days. Great prof, funny guy, lovely accent, easy to listen to and very engaging as an orator. But attend class, don't skip.

Geoff England was a fantastic prof. The subject is challenging but definitely if you do the work it will pay off in the class (and employment law is something you ignore in your working life at your own peril). Would certainly recommend him as a prof.

The dude is right on. Drinks harder than most students, and has some hilarious stories. Don't bother with the textbook, just take good notes and you'll do just fine.

I really enjoyed this professor. He is very intelligent without being stuffy. Does a good job of marking, etc. Helpful to students and definately knows the subject matter inside and out.

Hysterically funny guy. The course material is very boring but he makes up for it with his stories. Exams are all essay type questions which suck but he marks quite easy. Don't bother reading the text, just take good notes on his lectures and you'll do fine.

Great guy but a dull class. He has a great sense of humor though. His exams are basically out of his notes so study his notes well and just skim the main points of the text.

Write down everything he says. Take good notes and study them. If you work hard you will be rewarded. The final is reasonable; however, don't expect him to tell you what questions may be on the exam. Great professor!! I would take more classes from him.

England is a wealth of knowledge in the areas he teaches. From what I understand he is an esteemed academic. It is considerably difficult to take notes in his classes, however regardless of this the amount one takes away from his class is plenty.

His accent was easy to understand. The material is rather boring and dry but he presents it better than the other 206 prof's and he told us exactly what was expected of us on the exam
