Has insightful feedback when helping with a project, BUT he is constantly VERY late to classes and meetings, which makes it hard to give a sh*t about the class. If you're willing to put up with tardiness, take a production course. He wasn't so great with the theory/crit course I took. (Also, currently taking a screenwriting class that's very meh.)

Pingree is insightful, caring, and honest. He shares wisdom he's learned in his life, he's honest with us about not so desirable realities and introduces us to new concepts,and works of art that evoke provocation to the core. He is professor who changes the way his students think, commanding respect but still keeping the classroom laid-back

glad to see Geoff's still a favorite. he's very intelligent, a bit too easy with students, I think, and a good lecturer. I used to drool over this guy, when he taught elsewhere. Regardless of the reasons, taking his courses inspired me to consider a new field that I'm now pursuing professionally. I definitely recommend him.

Very intellectual, probably works better in smaller classes but does what he can. Really listens to his students, very good for discussion, very enthused about cinema but challenges his students to think. Grades essays based on improvement.
