Geoff does not make class an easy affair but his classes are super rewarding and quite fun. He's an amazing teacher and I would totally recommend him, just be ready for a challenge. Another awesome thing are his stick-figure drawings.

Geoff is at his best, I think, when you talk to him personally; he's incredibly smart. A lot of people seem to enjoy his class discussions, which aren't the best unless he's really into the subject. Reading Moby-Dick with him was amazing.

Geoff is hands down one of the best teachers i have encountered ever. this is due to the fact that he is genuinely passionate about his material and cares personally about his students. He may rely to heavily on moodle to facilitate class discussions, but its obviously to make sure even the quiet geniuses speak. regardless he is a true sage.

Sanborn pretty much spent class rambling to himself and drawing weird scribbles on the board. No one knew what he was talking about! I don't know why everyone loves him I have never been so bored in my life. He never responds to emails and its impossible to get in touch with him unless you harass him after class. Stay away!

He's awesome! Really passionate about teaching and getting the class to understand where he's coming from. You have to be willing to work hard, but it's totally worth it. He met my high expectations, and made FYSEM much more interesting. If you like discussion classes, take him for FYSEM!
