Wow literally can't even express in words how great Mr. Brown is. He genuinely cares about every one of his students and he's an amazing teacher. One of a kind; if you have an opportunity to get to know him or take one of his classes, absolutely take it.

Excellent teacher. Very intelligent and cares deeply about students and lectures. I emailed him about (minor) concerns regarding the class and received a detailed, thoughtful reply almost immediately.

This guy knows his stuff and knows how to teach it. He is VERY supportive and has GREAT concern for the students. He still wants you to keep in touch even after taking him. If you ever have a chance, definitely take him...otherwise you'll really regret it.

Probably the best physics professor I've ever had. Not only does he show concern for his students, but also has great determination in teaching the materials very well. Take this teacher if you get the chance because anyone else wouldnt be as great as him.

He seems truly concerned with the learning of his students, and is willing to do anything to make sure people understand course material, even if it means explaining an idea 3 times, which can drag on. He's super supportive, especially in office hours, and explains ideas really clearly. Class demos are great, and he has a wonderful sense of humor

Comment:
The quality of the lectures in this class varied considerably. Some were dreadfully boring, whereas others were quite stimulating. Interestingly, there was a strong corelation between use of the wave machine and lectures that put one to sleep.
