Really great professor!! Gives enjoyable lectures and tries hard to stimulate class discussion. Easily approachable and always willing to give help. Gonna miss him at BU!!

George is an awesome prof. passionate for what he teaches, challenges you to think in different ways. Does expect a lot from his students, good idea to go to his classes. all around down to earth, nice guy. really easy to approach for extensions, questions or guidance.

George is a great prof. I had him all year and definitey made the decision for me to major in history an easy one. My only regret is that he does not have more classes. When he is done school BU would be stupid not to offer him a LOT of money to stay there because he makes students love school.

Heard that he was interesting before the class. Would say that this is history for people who hate history. Don't really like his teaching style. Dosen't give us the facts. Tends to dwell on his interpretation of things. Wouldn't recommend his class if you want to learn what really happened.

George is the****, he keeps it interesting and encourages open debate. He is one of the few professors that i know that actually encourages you to challenge him and prove him wrong. I highly recommend taking his classes. Just remember to mention that Sir John A. is a ****.

George is the best prof that I have ever had. I knew that this half of Canadian History was the least interesting but he has made the class enjoyable and a pleasure to be in. Hard marker but fair and even let us have class outside!
