George gives a lot of work. I think we had to turn in 40 or 50 assignments. He drops the lowest 6 grades and he doesn't go on until the whole class gets it. He's a very fair grader who is willing to work with everyone. Try not to miss class because there is a lot to miss in each class. He doesn't like to fail his students and helps everyone.

I took his class a few years ago before changing my major to engineering transfer. He gives a lot of work and expects a lot, but he does just as much work correcting papers so you know what was wrong. Everything I learned in his class, and learned well because he drills it in, served as a solid foundation for EVERY class I've succeeded in since!

Seems to take pleasure in seeing his students struggle under a clearly overbearing workload. Ive had to drop my other classes just to keep up. Also runs his lectures incredibly fast, leaving most confused. If you ask too many questions, hell get annoyed and just move on. Heres an equation for you: 3(workload)+Frustration bad Professor

Pros: Good Guy, tries hard, light-hearted, Smart/Funny, reasonable grader. Cons: Labs are a disorganized mess. Material explained way too quickly to fully understand. Overwhelms you with unreasonable amounts of work (10+hrs). Plan to take his class solo for the semester because your other classes will suffer.

He is very smart but disorganized, harsh grader, and can be rude. Half of your grade is writing pointless facts and drawing perfect diagrams just cause he wants you to. Not a good educator in my opinion

Very hard physics class. If you ask him questions you will get an answers. If you ask the same question twice he starts to get annoyed. Work load was over the top. Never spent so much time on one class in my whole life. He knows his stuff and he expects you to know it as well, I didn't like that. I would take one of his classes if I had to.

Mr. Crook is the best teacher I have ever had. If you are willing to try, he is willing to help. Before taking this class, I had NO interest in the subject. Now, I still hate physics, but I'm glad I took the class. He is good at explaining the material, and he adds personal experience/stories to his lectures. He is a smart man with a kind heart.

Crook is the greatest teacher EVER. He is the smartest person I've ever met and made Physics absolutely fun. He not only is a great teacher, but a really funny guy. Also willing to help you as well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!
