Excellent teacher ! Super nice person. I had his class in 1976 and I consider Dr. Jones to be a great friend and mentor. We have been friends since I took his class. You have to be able take notes and know how to study in his class. Dr. Jones has tremendous concern for his students.

I loved this class. Please note that he now uses a text book! as long as you read the chapter you will do fine on the quizzes. He really cares a lot about his students and works with you if for some reason you can't come to class or miss an assignment. He offers a GREAT extra credit project!

Doesn't use a textbook. His tests are kind of far off from what he teaches. His lectures aren't that great. He does get off topic quite a bit. Very opinionated about his Christian and Republican views and he will tell you what he thinks. He even told one guy in class that he was sick! Not recommended.

Jones' tests are super difficult. He gives the material to study, but the actual tests are very far off from the study guide. His class doesn't require a text, but his lectures are hard to follow. He stops between and tells tales of his childhood and he is always late to class. Myself and peers worked our butt off studying and still didn't make it.

Dr Jones is a super nice guy. He is opinionated and he is conservative. Dr Jones however is intelligent enough to understand that not everyone agrees with him and he loves a good debate. His class is VERY TOUGH!! Be prepared to earn your grade. His tests are HARD. Trust me I know - I got an A and earned every single point!

I would not take this professor unless I absolutely had to. He is VERY OPINIONATED and likes to try and press his views on you. The tests are impossible and he's VERY,VERY CONSERVATIVE. If taking his class listen carefully, he sometimes says mildly entertaining things.

The teacheer is a very sweet man but he doesn't use a book for his class. The entire time it is just lecturing and when it comes time for the test you don't know what to study. He gives study guides but they are very vague adn pretty much useless. Very difficult class.

There is no book and no study guide. (Except, for some reason, he surprised us with one for the first test.) He lectures during the whole class period, so be prepared to take plenty of notes. His tests are absurd. Be prepared to spend many, many hours studying before his tests.

This class is almost impossible. We are over half way through the semester and we haven't had a single grade, he has lectured every single day. We got our study guide and I know absolutely nothing on it. I attend class (it's mandatory) and take notes, but the review has little to do with the notes. I strongly discourage taking this class.

He does express his own opinion but if you have any questions he is more than will to answer you. He responds to your emails promptly. He does not require a text book. The one draw back is that his lectures are very wordy so you will have to write a lot and fast (expect hand cramps). Take Good Notes in order to get a passing grade is the key.

very good professor. Very bright and helpful.
