Dr. Plasketes is one of the greatest professors at Auburn. His lectures are interesting and full of entertaining stories. The class is pretty easy and you will do fine if you have good participation.

He's a chill teacher and you won't have to do a whole lot of work. However, the few things that he does assign (2 essays and big project/presentation) have a lot of weight to them and he doesn't just give out 100s. He isn't necessarily an easy A, and he rambles a lot in class. Was my lowest grade of the semester and don't feel like I learned much.

I have him for Honors Tech and Culture II. He is great. Assigns readings but just for the week and not a specific day and you aren't tested on them. He is so funny and loves to hear himself talk. You have lots of discussions and guest speakers, not much note taking or hard work. Just a midterm, group project, and final on whatever topic you want.

Awesome teacher. He really makes the class interesting to his students by letting them decide what they want to learn about. Would take this class again in a heartbeat

Very flexible on assignments. Gives you loads of freedom, especially with the group project. Reference the readings often and you'll be fine on the papers. He's a friendly, cool guy. Tends to be a tad unclear on assignment specifications, but again, he's very flexible about them so it's not really anything to worry about. Fun class, would recommend

George is a really genial guy who tries hard to make his lectures interesting. He is not overly focused on giving out grades and seems like a fun guy to get a beer with. Assignments are straightforward and the group project has a large degree of flexibility so it's pretty enjoyable. Discussions are informal but engaging. Would definitely recommend.

Great guy and very understanding. Make sure not to save the journals for the last minute. Exams are easy and straight from lecture. Took him for 4580 (Fame) and was great too. Any opportunity, take him. Easy A if you work for it.

Literally the nicest professor you will ever have. I was sick the week he scheduled his final exams and was so understanding. Classes are not mandatory but his exams are literally word for word what he says in class and not from the textbook so go to them. He makes them fun and interesting so they're worth the time.

I had Dr. Plasketes for a couple of classes back in 1991. (writing for RTF I think) He was the best professor ever. Glad to see he'e still there. Never a boring or dull moment. Just an all around great guy.

THE KING OF AUBURNS RTVF program. The people who teach the majority of RTVF classes are not even qualified. Except for Dr.P and Dr. Sutton I think Auburn should reevaluate the entire program.

Dr. P is the BEST!! His classes are really laid back. I have had him for 4 classes total and I have gotten A's in all of them. You need to have the notes and even though attendance isn't mandatory you should go because the tests are from his lectures and the in-class films. The journals are long and take alot of time, but they are kinda fun!

Really nice guy, a lot of work for the journal, not something that can be done in one or two nights. His notes are almost impossible to write down because he only speaks them once, he will give out a long ass quote once and expect us to know it for the test. However he is really interesting to listen to and I think lecture worth going to.

RTFV 3350 is "writing for RTVF." I learned more in this class than any class i had all semester. The most interesting class I've taken in my college career. Great teacher and a great sense of humor. He walks into class without a single note, he lectures without much preperation at all. He knows what he's talking about.

He is a wonderful teacher and he is passionate about the subjects he teaches. He is considerate of his students feelings and he recognizes that his students have a life outside of the classroom, so he doesn't assign alot of uneccesary work. LOVE HIM!!
