Athaide is a fantastic teacher and very caring. There are quizzes almost every week but he will give a study guide for each with the exact terms you need to know. Very accessible to meet outside class because i had questions about advising and he helped me even though he wasnt my advisor. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND

The most caring professor I've had so far at Loyola. Such a nice guy and really cares about his students doing well. He is always there for feedback and makes sure you can do the best you possibly can. If you have to take Marketing, you 10000000% have to take him.

Had him for the Chile Study Tour International Marketing Class. Great experience, great teacher. Worked hard to setup very educational site visits while in Chile. Very knowledgeable. Manageable coursework despite compressed schedule. Best class at Loyola! If you're doing a part-time MBA there, take it.

Athaide is the man. Take him if you can. If you pay attention you'll be able to get an easy A. Quizzes are straightforward and he tells you exactly what's going to be on tests. He even gives you some answers.

Athaide was definitely my fav teacher this past semester; He makes his plans for the course crystal clear and makes sure everyone knows what's going on; class is mandatory other than one class; course content is exciting day to day, not much hw other than readings for easy quizzes each class that are meant to boost your grade, def take athaide

Athaide is a wonderfully nice man who genuinely cares for his students. He always has your best interest in mind. Gives quizzes to bring up your grade. Has enough work that you really feel like you are learning something you're going to remember. Is there every step of the way if you need him. TAKE HIM!!

Great class, lots of commercial watching etc. Easy quizzes once a week to make sure you read..they'll bring up your grade. Tests are on exactly what he says. One of the nicest teachers at Loyola. Genuinely cares about students. TAKE HIM!

A lot of people like his teaching style, but it doesn't speak to me. This course was team taught with Gerard and Hasha Desai. I thought the course iteself focused too much on cool stuff you could go find to read, and not enough of the professor's unique synthesis of that material. He's fair and the material is interesting, though.

This guy was super nice and always available to help you. His tests were also pretty easy and there was a group project that was very time consuming but if you meet with him a couple of times you will get an A- or better.
