What a character. He came to class late ten to fifteen minutes almost every day. He also no showed about three or four times throughout the semester. His quizzes and tests are actually pretty difficult but he does allow you to retake them which makes up for it. Homework is never checked yet it helps you to understand the material if you do it.

the class moved through only 4 chapters but he was always late for class. Stood in front of the class and talked all the time, it was hard to pay attention. Don't take the lower level classes with him. only plus you can retake tests.

he was ok. did a lot of 'group labs' which could be ok or not ok, depending. and the final was a group final. not a lot of individual homework, although it was a summer class. didn't feel like i learned the theory behind it and it felt like busy work. eh. hairdo is sweet though. hehe.

Prof. Schultz is the best math professor at Southern. He is not a cakewalk or easy A, but if you follow his instructions and study just a bit, you will learn a great deal and get a good grade. He is also funny which makes the class enjoyable, which can not be said for many other math classes. Take him if you can!

Dr. Schultz is awesome. If you have a question, ask him and he'll help you out. The homework are "labs" (About 9 per semester) which have 20-30 problems each. There are usually 2 tests per semester, and he allows you to earn back up to 1/2 the points you lost by correcting them. Helpful, friendly, and funny.

Calculus II can be a difficult class. But Dr. Schultz made it fun. He really knows his**** and can teach it unlike many of the other professors I've had (not only in math). I will be taking his Linear Algebra class this summer.

Professor Schultz is incredibly smart. The material covered is very difficult to grasp and requires practice and sometims tutorial assitance. Having said that, Dr. Schultz bends over backwards to give help when you need it. taking this class in summer almost killed me! :^D He also lets students take makeup exams if they had a poor grade.

Rushed thru semester due to snow days. Only one group turned in the all the labs on time before the second exam and he was suprised why the majority of the class did poorly. Never explains, just chooses examples and you have to copy his work off the board. Tough if you haven't taken math for awhile.

What a great teacher he is! He knows his stuff and can teach it to us. I am learning lots of things. I never learned trig but can actually do it. He makes the class fun and serious at the same time. I'd recommend him to any student who wants to learn.

i actually liked the math. we met everyday for 3 weeks and i understood the math, from logic, sets, number theory, abstract math systems, and evenprobability. he is a great teacher. he is dedicated and helps his students. an A+++++ for him.

had him for wintersession and he made it EASY. all tests except midterm and final were take home and even the exams were open notebook. try to get a TI-83 calculator since half the class is learning how to use it. jovial fellow, makes wintersession FLY by quickly for ppl that don't like math.

I really think that he did not take my class seriously at all. I suspect it might be because we were a lower level class composed of all women. (I don't pull the **** card lightly) He would leave class every day and only stop in every once in a while, never taught, only gave us dittos to do alone
