Comment:

I had him as a teacher and he is in need for improvement. His prompts didn't make any sense. His discussions in class were forced and awkward. He often destroys papers in red, but I often believed I had a good paper so never fixed that much. I'd get a couple letter grade boosts, but I don't recommend. Also you will not get grades till the end :/

Professor Fitzpatrick has been the best professor I have had during my time at Ursinus. He makes you work for your grades, but by the time you finish his class you will come out a significantly better student. I could not reccomend his classes enough. As a professor he will make you a better writer, reader, and speaker/

Very tough grader on essays. This class is supposed to be student discussions but it became him lecturing on political science-based opinions that can be difficult to follow. If your essays don't follow his opinions that he shares in class, they will get lower grades than they deserve.

He gives a lot of reading and if you don't do it class the next day won't be fun. If you don't participate he WILL cold call on you. He also is a sarcastic and sassy mf so get ready for that. He is also has a reputation of being a hard grader (even my adviser told me he was). RIP and good luck PS he is a lowkey nice guy

Worst teacher I've ever had. You can never understand what he is saying, the least straightforward person I know. his grading doesn't make any sense. He makes you do informal writings assignments that he collects every day and I don't even know what he does with them because he doesn't give you a grade back and barely ever writes anything on there.

He's definitely one of the hardest professors I have had. Yet, I learned so much in his class and he cares A LOT about the subject. Just do the reading and participate, you'll do fine. Also go to his office hours, I wouldn't have done as well without getting help outside of class.

He is rude, unhelpful, and hard to get along with. He told me that I think too highly of my academic abilities despite the fact that I have never received a grade lower than a B+ in all of my other courses that were not with him over the past four years. I took to courses with him and received a b- and a c+.

I don't understand how anyone could ever give Mr. Fitz a bad review, and to anyone who does, shame on you. Fitz is perhaps the hardest professor I have had in my life, effectively making him the best. You go to college to learn, not to take easy classes and coast. With Fitz you will learn, and you will be the best of the politics students.

His tests couldn't be harder. He is very vague when telling you what to study for. The concept that no attention is paid to in class is a test question worth 30 points. Don't take this course unless you are a good writer or want to learn to write and have a bad grade.

I hate this man with a passion. He is so extremly liberal and let's it be known in class. His tests are so unfair because he gives three essay questions that are supposed to be written in 50 minutes.
