Tells you two days before the exams what will be on them. Overall not too bad. Just go to class and take notes. Very little writing for a writing class and it also satisfies the capstone requirement. There is 1 7 page paper and 2 summaries (1 written) I must have done really bad on the final to get a B-. The class is easy

This class was probably the easiest Tier 3 class to take and I am not even a Geography major. It was super easy, but maybe because I went to class everyday. The tests were only like 15 questions long and very simple as long as you took notes from lecture slides, which were also simple. She always made jokes too. Oh and participate, she loves it

she doesnt take attendance so its not mandatory but she wont share slides with you so you do need to show up and take notes or get them from someone. book not mandatory, if you study the powerpoint slides the night before the exam, your good. exams are 10 question multiple choice, shes funny and entertaining, easy LEP class

she is very nice but a bit flighty, geo 100 is super easy, she talks alot about germany but the tests are based off the notes, she doesnt put them online so you have to go to class, but just skimming the notes for 2 or 3 nights before a test will get you an A

You will clearly learn a lot in her class. Be sure to pay attention and take good notes she does not send the slides. Also she will make you do research and have you pay attention what is going on in the world. Highly reccomend

She's quirky but nice. Lectures are long with no interaction with the students. Book is not necessary, take notes and you should pass the tests.

This is my second time with Prof. Ross-Reynolds and this time it was better. Although her accent still gets in the way of understanding her sometimes, the class was more understandable. You have 2 tests, 2 article summaries and a research paper. She's extremely nice and can be disorganized. Would recommend 710

I really enjoyed this class a lot. Test are very easy and pointless, but lectures can be a drag and she sits and talks to herself most of the time. Attendance isn't mandatory, but the least you can do is show up. Would recommend this class. p.s she does not email back and will not change grade you received.

She is a very nice lady. She just talks the whole class and reads mostly from the powerpoints which she puts online so you can skip class and still do fine. Do not buy the book that will be a waste of money!!! Just take notes and you'll do fine.

Do not buy the book because you will never use it. Overall the class is very as long as you go and take her notes. The movies are boring.

This class is fairly interesting, but......Ross-Reynolds is EXTREMELY boring. She finds her own jokes funny. She also has a very strong German accent which when she laughs, it makes her harder to understand. Other than this, the class is extremely, tests are all multiple choice.

Nice lady, can be sort of confusing but means well. You don't need the book at all, but make sure you take notes on what she says in class and study them. Her tests (pretty easy) are based on that. Not all that much writing for a W course.

Very easy, but very boring. She goes on and on about Germany, Europeans and her entry into the US. 3 article summaries, a few paragraphs and a research paper (about 9 pages, topic options given). 2 tests, multiple choice. Graded papers VERY easy, multiple re-writes for iffy writers. Scatterbrained but well meaning. If you need a W, consider this.

Super easy if you can pay attention without asking questions. If you do ask a question, prof will be so thrown off that she will assume that you have a special interest in the subject, instead of just NOT HAVING LIVED UNDER A ROCK. I suggest taking this as your first 100 level course, so maybe SOMETHING will be new for you.
