He is a good person and is funny. His handwriting is awful so it's hard to read what he writes on the board. There are 3 tests and a final in the class. No homework but to read on your own. His study guides have information but the tests usually have nothing to do with them, except he got better about it. He gives extra credit.

He was really nice and funny but boring at times. He just sat in front of the class and talked the whole time. I felt like I was on my own a lot of the time and had no direction. He would write the topics that we were going to discuss on the board but no one could even read his hand writing.

Awful! Quizes have two questions which never seem to have anything to do with the readings or lectures. lectures are boring and confusing. puts very few notes on the board....ones that that he does put up you can't read anyways. DO NOT TAKE! He means well but is awful!

U.S. Constitution was not the easiest class, with 4 quizzes and 4 tests on a subject matter I hate (crammed 2 quizzes and a test in at the end) However, he gives you exactly what the quizzes are going to be on, and honestly, the tests are easy to cheat on - recommended for someone who is taking U.S. Const. against their will

He is intresting, history sucks and Gerry can at least lecture with corney jokes that keep you listening. He does 4 exams and 4 quizzes and drops the lowest grades on both of them. Books I only bought the cheap one and did fine. He tried to tell you what he test you on but your better off studying your notes. if you must take this class take him!!!

Just took his last test where for the first time he told us what was gonna be on it. Yeah, 2 out of 8 things he mentioned that were going to be on the test actually were. Complete jerk, be prepared for his tests to be NOTHING that he mentions in class, though you can easily BS your way through the tests if you know something on the subject.

this professor is so confusing. the lectures are very boring and if you dont pay attention then you probably wont understand it. the tests are very hard and he rarely ever write notes on the board and when he does you cant read it!

doesn't take attendance. lectures the whole time, but is a genuinely nice guy. you have 3 tests excluding the final, and he drops the lowest grade. is a pretty easy grader. if you have a general background of US History then you should be okay. i didn't use my book at all. just take notes and know everything on the review and you should be fine. al

really nice guy. i found his lectures to be extremely confusing. doesnt take attendance. 3 tests and the final, no homework or quizzes. but his tests are hard. since his lectures are confusing, the tests are really hard and you pretty much have to teach yourself the material. very very nice guy though

He is a good teacher. He doesnt take attendance and will give you a study guide for teh test. if you know everything on the study guide you will do fine. There is only three test, and teh final and he drops the lowest test grade. I would say take him.

nice guy, but very confusing lectures. goes off topic in lectures, making it very hard to take notes. only assigns. are 3 tests and constitution packet. tests are hard..you have to study really hard since the lectures are so unclear, which leads to unnecessary stress. probably wouldnt taken him again

The way he structures his classes is that u use the text to find out what happened and the lectures cover WHY it happened. If u don't read the chapter before class then the lecture is useless. Tests are all essay questions, just write evrything u can think of, as long as you read you'll do well.
