Gert is a great instructor. This guy knows his stuff and he's got the experience to back it up. Do your readings and show up to class. You can easily succeed in this class if you pay attention. It's not rocket appliances. Highly recommended instructor at Dougy!

This class is super easy. He takes it really easy and class gets out early almost every time. The only assignment was a final research paper. For the tests, you have to pay attention to the lectures and then review the notes a couple times and you're good. It was so easy I can't believe some people didn't get an A. I didn't read the textbook once.

gert was great as a prof. he usually ends class early because there isn't much to cover. read the textbook, and his notes. tests were easy as long as you reviewed. class is boring, but he's old, and the subject isn't the interesting. it was like listening to a grandpa telling stories of how things used to be.

GPA booster class for sure, he even says so himself. everyone pretty much gets an A on the final project. the exams were pretty easy. i found the class interesting, and class was often cut short due to technical difficulties or just not enough material to cover. he is very approacheable if you have questions.

This is a perfect "intro to college" class but is nothing more than an hr (tops) of an elderly man rambling on about the same thing every class. While his knowledge & experience are vast, the overhead projector slides & poorly photocopied examinations along with the mind-numbingly boring & obvious "lectures" made this class extremely painful to get

One of the easiest classes I've ever taken. Bonus marks were given on tests if they weren't back within a week. The lectures themselves are somewhat dry, but you're always let out at least a half hour early. And Gert truely is one of the sweetest men you could ever meet! Probably not a great class if you're looking for a challenege, though.

coming to class was torture...SO BORING! Gert's voice is very mono-tone and slow. Gert takes a long time to return your phone calls... However, he is a caring helpful guy, like a grandpa. Gert just needs to add some spice to his class and return calls and he would be perfect.

gert's been around since douggie opened. he's awesome, the best ever! totally helps out the students, minimal changes from exams over the years, presentation and poster, paper with group - ever so easy! take him if u want an easy A! just like others said, u'd want him as ur dad!!!:D
