This Chem class is not as comprehensive as others but used for nursing. He makes this class and understandable. He teaches and cares. Go to class because he tells you what he wants you to know and that's what he tests on. Complete Owl it's worth the extra points. Take notes and pay attention.

Dr. Saed is great teacher. He encourages everyone in the class and tests are strictly from his notes. You have to attend the class in order to know what is going on and do the homework he assigns. I had 3.7.

Taking Saed was the worst decision i ever made. He does not stick to his word & doesn't answer emails. His extra credit is no aid & his curve is nearly nonexistent. Do not fall into his silliness. Get on his good side. His tests do not come from his notes and are confusing. The final is ACS and he basically tells every1 its impossible to pass it.

Worst professor i have ever had at Oakland. He did NOT teach to his exams. he made the material seem easy and then challenged you on the exam. He took 15-20 minutes to answer a question in order to get others to pay attention which negatively affected the students paying attention. He made you feel stupid and frustrated. I hated attending his class

Your attendance wasn't mandatory but BEWARE, I purposely skip classes and the next day of class I was totally unaware of what was going on. Try not to skip class because every lecture is important. Also, the subject is not easy but he really tries to help the class and he always gives out extra credit towards the end of the semester.

Prof. Saed's class is the only 8 am class I would wake up to go to. He engages everyone with his hilarious comments. He definitely seems passionate about what he does, & cares about his students. Don't take his comments seriously he's only joking & come to class, I've learned more chemistry than I thought I could taking him!

Saed is the best professor that I have ever had. He knows exactly what he's doing and doesn't rely on a powerpoint or any kind of material except for his own knowledge for his lectures. He offers extra credit, but the amount of OWL homework and even EC work is insane. He makes taking an 8am class extremely worth it and has a great sense of humor.

By far, the best professor I have ever had. He is the smartest professor at Oakland University. His lectures are like memorized by him, no power points, no notes, just his amazing brain. Write things down, he'll repeat that to you "50 billion times." He's hilarious and makes an 8am worth it. He memorizes every students name, just awesome.

Amazing teacher, very nice and open to help with any questions. Good sense of humor. I would highly recommend him to anyone who's struggling in chemistry. I had many professors but he's one in a million, i couldn't ask for a better chemistry professor. I understand chemistry because of him.

I am surprised by all of the positive comments. He comes across as very intimidating and makes you feel inadequate. He thinks he is right and the book is wrong. Asking questions is not easy for fear of how he will treat you. I do not recommend taking him. OWL is very difficult, so you need the book!

One of the best professors at this school. His lectures are straight forward yet informative. Since his class is so popular there are many students but he tries his best to make sure that each student understands the material. He is funny and lightens up the atmosphere he is very knowledgeable and inspiring. He pushes students to try their best. :)

You need the book. Always do OWL assignments. Tests can be hard so make sure to know all the material in the book. Saed doesn't really respond to emails or help outside of class, but he does do a pretty big curve at the end.

Professor Saed is the BEST chemistry teacher at Oakland. I took CHM 201 two times and failed before I took it with him for the third time. He made everything so much easier and he really wants you to succeed in his class. He does not take attendance but you must go if you want to know what will be on the tests. AMAZING teacher!!!!

Love, love, love this professor! Hes great and funny. DONT skip class. Classes are strictly lecture based and you need to take notes because the powerpoints online are just from the book. He will even tell you "THIS IS ON THE TEST". Awesome curve. DONT USE YOUR PHONE IN CLASS. If he sees you not paying attention he WILL pick on you. I got a 3.7 :)

Saed was awesome! He has a great sense of humor and tells you the material that will be on the test. He repeats things You need to know numerous times to make sure you understand. The OWL homework is awful and time consuming, worst part of the class but it helps to know he despises it too.

When I found out that I had an 8am chemistry class, I thought I would fall asleep. Saed literally stops that from happening. He's so funny, his accent takes a day or two to get used to, but he's actually one of the most clear, straightforward professors I've ever had. He makes chemistry interesting & is a really sweet guy if you ever need anything.

If you don't like being called out in class, don't take him. Lectures are easy to follow but you must read the book and do OWL. Commonly uses phrases such as "this is a second grade question" and will either make you laugh or feel stupid. Exams are difficult but there is extra credit given half way through the semester worth 10%.

Saed is a good professor. He is definately intimidating (especially to someone who dislike chemistry) but he lets you know exactly what you need to know for the test. He tells you what to write down and you are forced to pay attention. Which proves to be quite helpful. DO ALL OF YOUR OWLS!!!! Your grade will suffer if you skip owls believe me.
