Extremely difficult exams. She is however a great teacher and is willing to help at all times. If you take it with her, ensure you attend every class and prepare well. Do it with Shao if you're looking for an easier time.

Clear,organized,educated,and concise professor.This woman is happy to help you with any questions.Her test are difficult and you will need to work for your grade.Some people do not like her teaching style,I do not know why.She goes through problems slowly, thoroughly, and asks the class if we have any questions at the end of it.She is really great!

Took two courses with her. If you attend her classes properly, you will know your material. She makes difficult exams but is very fair with the marking. Overall a really good professor and one of the best in Civil Engineering

Some people hate her, some others love her! She's fair, willing to help you anytime but challenges you on the final, you better know your stuff more than well! Did an intership with her, very nice woman, demanding but pays well! She's a great asset to the Civil Department.

I did this class a while ago. She was very helpful and available. She is very intelligent and capable of clearly answering any question. Furthermore, she is not hesitant to use her many contacts outside of McGill to give work opportunities to students (with a GREAT pay) during the summer. Great asset for McGill.

Very helpful; you have to study to do well in this class, some people dont understand that and would rather blame their poor performance on her than themselves. She is extremely intelligent and an asset to McGill's Engineering Department.

One of the worst profs. ever. No control of the class, boring and unclear. Loosely grouped course contents, irrelevant exams, boring lectures, hard to follow since she bores herself. Avoid at all costs. Civil classes suck, but that's a first in suckyness.
