This should not be a college class. While this class is an easy A its really boring and you cannot even understand this professor. His tests are essay format. He gives you 20 essay questions to study and he picks 4 to put on the test. Of the 4 you have to answer 3. He wrote is own book so its cheap. If you want an easy A take this class

Amazing teacher he is sooo funny and the class is pretty easy! Study the night before and you will do fine. Watch a movie thats pretty good and 2 absences are permitted :) loved him he was great so great that i feel confident in going into french 2

Definitely do take French I (or 101) with him. He's interesting, funny, upbeat, etc. Says caramba and zut, zut, zut a lot. This class is an easy A - only if you actually do the work. He is quite reasonable too. The only reason why I don't give him an A+ is because he doesn't have lots of variety in class, plus he tends to waste our time sometimes.

hes a really great professor. hard to understand at first but you get used to it quick- its also a very entertaining class bc hes always funny! there is one project and a couple tests that are so easy. just read the book and go to class. highly recommend him as a professor and the class isnt bad for a culture credit. awesome!!

Dr. Darbouze was hilarious. It's hard to understand him for the first few weeks or so since he is from Haiti. He takes attendance on a regular basis but his classes were always interesting. He wrote the book himself, it was an easy read! As long as you do read and go to class you should do fine.

he is very funny guy and very nive too. You'll allowed five absent. He gives pop up quiz which are not graded and is pressty much what will be on the test. He very understanding and down to earth. I only went to the lab three times and still got creadit for it. Take his class

Very upbeat and enthusiastic about class. Uses a text he wrote himself; it is usually easier to follow than most textbooks, but sometimes he forgets what is/isn't in it! Exams (usually 2-3 short-answer essays on each) can be challenging but manageable if you study and pay attention in class.

Real easy class.Four mini exams(30pts. each) and can drop lowest.There is also a mid-term and a final that can't be dropped but they are not accumulative. No homework or projects. All you need to do is show up. 30 mins of studying before exam is more than enough to get an A.

Wonderful Person, very nice, easy genEd. He made french history interesting. Carumba and Zoot... thats what i will always remember from Darbouze. I will definitly take this professor again.
