Bert is a great professor to learn from and an extremely entertaining lecturer, as long as you don't mind some friendly ribbing(he will make fun of you, but not as much as he does himself, and it's a very entertaining performance). he explains the material very clearly, and does a lot of good examples on the board. not too much hw.

I am absolutely in love with Kerr, he is sassy and keeps the class interesting.. His tests are fair and he prepares you for them... He will not appreciate you ditching his class when it comes time to ask for help so just go to class.. He is brilliant and the best math prof I've had at tech thus far ... Love ya Kerr!!!

Without a doubt on of the best professors that I've ever had here at Tech (if not the best thus far). He is extremely helpful and provides tons of examples throughout class. Very funny yet informative, you absolutely cannot fail as long as you apply any effort whatsoever.

Fast paced lecture. Many examples with nice sketches. Extraordinary clarity and very entertaining. He is like watching a hummingbird. He nicknames some students. Best not to take yourself too seriously. One of the best instructors I ever had.

If you have always been at NMT and are not a transfer in and you have a perfect gpa then take his class. If not then steer clear. If he views you as stupid you don't have a chance in passing, even if you have straight A's in the rest of your classes.

A good professor because he gives a lot of exmaples and he gives you practice exams that are GREAT for getting you ready for the tests. As far as Bert Kerr as a human being is concered lets just say I think he is a horrible person (ask me in real life and I'll have some stronger words).

Dr. Kerr is one of the best professors I've had at Tech. He makes math fun, and his classes are always a riot. He'll explain the material quite thoroughly, and his practice tests are always an excellent prep for the exams. Do the homework, it's worth it. And always remember to trust your uncle Bert. He's your calculus pal :)

Kerr makes academics personal. Unfortunately he had an unfavorable opinion of me and as a result taking his class wasn't only a waste of time and money. I began his class motivated. I left his class apathetic. His class caused me problem academically and made me apathetic towards education in general.
