Great teacher- he has so much knowledge in his brain it can be tricky to keep up with his line of thinking. Projects can be unclear but his critiques are useful and helpful. He is VERY VERY consistent with one-on-one time for students who need it. He is even better at treating every one equally.

Gilbert was my Capstone Advisor. I took at least five classes with him. He is one of the best professors I have ever had. He cares and makes you want to be better. Gilbert is also an amazing artist.

Overall, this was probably the coolest class I took as an undergrad at CSUMB. Gilbert Neri was an awesome professor and the assignments for this class were so interesting (it was almost like combining philosophy, photoshop, modern art, and so on, all into one). class was so fun, yet even though class was easy, it was mindfully challenging! Crazy!

Gilberts course is one mind **** of a class. But, the class is pretty dope. Just don't click on the computers when people are presenting because he'll get very agitated. But he is very helpful, and is cool as ****. Just don't click on the computers when he is lecturing, or if a student is lecturing as well.

good teacher, and i love his powerpoints of different public arts and the points he makes be prepared for group projects of like 10 people, but he gives a lot of time off class for them too, which your "suppose to do the readings" heh... keep in mind, he is a art teacher, just be creative, and he'll love you forever... plus u get rid of 2-3

Harder than expected, but you get more days out of class than you have to be in it.
