Personally, I love the subject. This professor was okay but definitley not my kind of style. Her personality can be a little shaky at times. However, you really have to earn the grade in this class.

Dr. Gibau is a very caring woman who really wants her students to succeed in the class. Make sure you participate because it makes you stand out. Tests are a little bit difficult but just study and listen when there is a study day before the test. Overall great prof. and I highly recommend her

Super nice lady, but don't expect to put in zero effort and still get a good grade. It's not ridiculously hard, but you do need to pay attention to her lectures/notes. She puts notes on canvas which is helpful, and she's willing to go over material again if people are struggling. Great prof, just make sure you aren't being a lazy student!

She is a really great teacher. She knows what she is talking about and is passionate about certain topics in anthropology. As long as you go to class and attempt to participate you won't have a problem. There is frequent work outside of class but it is interesting and not difficult at all. She is really understanding as well.
