Such a great professor. She will easily give you 2/3 hours worth of homework every night, but it all has a purpose. Her tests are hard, so you actually have to study hard. Moral of the story: Study and put effort into the class and you will do just fine.

Had her for both 101 and 102. She is pretty challenging, there are weekly quizzes and occasional homework. Her tests can be pretty hard too. However she is a wonderful teacher and will give you credit if she sees you are making an effort and occasionally meet with her.

Not too hard...but looots of work! Be ready to work hard...don't fall behind in her class because everything builds on what you learned previously. Giuliana is great teacher!!! She is very CLEAR and HELPFUL! If you are interested in Italian....make sure you take it with her!

She is a very dedicated professor and always ready to go the extra mile for her students. Her class is genuinely interesting; I think this might be my favorite class. I particularly appreciate the diversity of sources and materials that we use in class. It's not the same old chapter-by-chapter language class.

Some of these comments are not very helpful. Palma is a great teacher, but she is very hard. She comes prepared for class and expects you to do the same. If you are in her 101 class realize that she expects you to be prepared every single day. no excuses. quizes on friday. She is a great teacher but do not expect an easy A.
