Dr. Loppnow is amazing! He's a bit of character to figure out, but despite his blunt sarcasm he really cares about his students. He definitely challenges you to engage with the material on deeper levels than you are used to, but if you show a genuine interest and use the techniques he teaches you, you will really get a lot out of his class!

This is a very different class when compared to a normal science class. You (kind of) choose your project and then do research and implement a location solution. Pray for good people in your group, haha. Some lectures on ethics, different science careers are also given. You need good time management. It was CR/NCR this year, so turned out okay.

GLEN RULES. He is hilarious and approaches the information in a humorous way to keep the attention of his students. I find it impossible to fall asleep during his lectures and find myself always laughing at his good jokes. He knows us too well.

Glen is a pretty fly guy. He likes to blow things up and his lectures keep you intrigued. You have to work hard to stay in the game but he admires that hard work. So overall I give him a big ol' thumbs up.

Very good lecturer, really likes ethanol, "sweet ethanol." Concepts are clear and simple. It's the lab you got to look out for, it consistently gets a ~45% average for lab finals. Dr. Jordan (lab coordinator) is a really nice lady, but has way too many expectations from her students.

Avoid this course as if your life depended on it, because it does. It is not so much Dr. Loppnow's fault as it is Anna Jordan, the lab coordinator, for whom the only fitting adjective is EVIL. I kid you not.
