Comment:
BEST PROFESSOR OF ALL TIME! He is extremely nice, and very knowledgeable. I thought the course was pretty easy too, pretty much no homework. I wish I still had him. I still talk to him if I see him around the campus, he is very friendly. If you are having trouble, ask him for help during (or outside of) class. He WILL help you.

love ya gordon, but i know it's a chair because we define it as such, and everything we do is based on the unspoken agreements to say that the color of the sky is called blue, the color of the grass is called green and it's a chair because it fits my behind soooooo well. ayn rand's atlas shrugged helped me form my own philosophical bent... but your lectures are wonderful, it's totally not your fault philosophy is for those with a less... practical bent.

Dr. Haist is one of the best profs I have ever had (and I'm a senior). Extremely intelligent, articulate, really cares about his students. Had him for RELG 202 my first year, and PHIL 102 later on. Challenging, but helps you along the way. Encourages students to get involved and do the best they can.

Went completely out of his way to help his students. Would give him award of greatest teacher if I could. Coffee and doughnuts in the atrium bring clarity to logic!
