Dr. Taylor has a vast amount of information to offer, but like other students, I feel he often has a tendency to go off-topic. But, that's not always a bad thing...his rambling ties in (loosely) with the topic at hand, and he is a very interesting, kind, and compelling prof.

Taylor is very kind and open to ideas. He expects quite a bit, but is sympathetic to the student's busy schedule. One drawback for me was class time -- he isn't the best at leading discussion and if students don't keep things rolling he is prone to go off on tangents and lose the attention of the class.

Staff in the Dean's office described him as a big teddy bear, and I'd agree--he's as nice as they come! Dr. Taylor kindly offered himself as a reference if I should need even though I'm a non-major. He can ramble and doesn't push student comments, so class can be tedious if you're stuck with quiet (or non-reading!) classmates.

Very nice, will work with you and he understands that this is not the only class. Grades papers harshly. He is brilliant and expects papers are written like he would. In class he gets off the subject rather quickly and easy. He has trouble getting his points across.
