I am madly in love with man. I think he is brilliant and every student should get the chance to take a course by him. He was enthusiastic and encouraged us to figure things out through discussion and challenged us, often using the socratic method, which I love. He is definitely one of my favorite professors I've had.

Dr. Wilson is one of the most fair, understanding professors at UNCA. He is genuinely interested in the success of his students, and is willing to help you no matter what. One of the Philosophy dept's best assets! I loved his classes; he's the best!!

Really good combination of making difficult material accessible without dumbing it down. He's helpful and really seems to want his students to do well. It's nice to have a professor who likes his job and is rooting for you.

Very intelligent and good at explaining logic. Of course it's difficult material and he doesn't spoon-feed the answers to his students--but he's a great professor overall. He's always willing to help outside of class and really seems to enjoy his job.

Very knowledgeable and helpful. His classes are hard because it's hard subject matter. He expects a lot, but it's not unreasonable. If you actually do the work, pay attention and study you'll be fine.

I didn't care for this professor. I think he's very biased and cares less about his students. He's smart and can teach you things, but at the cost of your GPA. I'd take Maitra instead. I've talked to other I took the class with, and they said the same thing. Bye-bye GPA!

I really liked Intro to Logic. Dr. Wilson is funny, incredibly smart, and can make the class laugh. It's a little challenging and takes work outside of class, but as long as you prepare, you'll have a good time in Logic.

He is a little strange a first, but he's very very smart. While sometimes he doesn't make sense, his humanites class allowed for a lot of freedom to express opinions. His tests are really hard, though. Just a warning. But he's a really nice guy.

Interesting class and knowledgeable professor. Tough essays and a lot of reading. It's ultimately worthwhile and during lecture it's fun. If only the essays were a little easier. :) It's a more traditional approach to academics, which isn't necessarily bad.
