Easiest online class I have ever taken. There are two six-page papers, but if you put effort in them, she is vey generous with the grade. She has a ton of readings, but the tests are open book, so I always got an A on them even without doing the readings beforehand. There are discussions every week that are easy points as long as you do them.

Grace Chou was a great professor. She had a very organized schedule and was very clear on the assignments/tests. The reading was light and intriguing, the discussion boards were interesting, the two papers were easy, and the tests were just reviews of the reading. I would highly recommend Grace Chou to anyone and everyone.

she is a fair grader, very clear on expectations. The tests themselves were kind of hard to me, did not matter how much I studied I averaged a B. The assignments were easy though, fifteen discussions, and two papers that were very interesting to write.

She's very sweet and will answer your questions but it felt like a lot of busy work/group work that wasn't essential to learning the subject. Get ready for a group presentation at the end of the semester and ask a lot of questions so she knows who you are.

Dr. Chou started the semester with informative lectures and power point, but by the end it turned into group work almost every class period and very little lecture time. The group assignment was very time consuming and required several group meetings outside of the class. Expectations on the group assignment were not very clear.

Her English is HORRIBLE! She writes her own tests and her grammar is so awful that more often than not, you can't understand the questions. All she does is read her powerpoints in class. It's all boring as heck till you take the incomprehensible tests and you're screwed. Don't take this class from her.

Best teacher I've ever had! Stats is a HORRIBLE class and no on ever passes the first time through. I was scared to death! Plus it's been 7+ years since I took any kind of math - I was sure I was doomed. But Grace broke every step down so clearly it was hard not to pass! She is a phenominal teacher! Seriously the best I've ever had!!

Quizzes everyday which i hated. Tests were true or false and fill in the blank only which made it difficult. I feel that true or false can easily mislead you. She was hard to understand and I found the class boring but she was willing to help you.

I am not a person who understands statistics, but Professor Chou made it so much easier. She is very clear, doesn't give too much homework, and is very willing to work with students. Despite the fact that I don't like math, I enjoyed the class.

(web) Prof. Chow is a very smart instructor. She encourages you think as an individual, and share your insights with the class through board posts. Textbook is highly used. Tests come str8 from the book. She uses power points and other methods to ensure a solid understand of each chapter. The 2 field assignments are cool projects too. Good Teacher!

She is SUCH an amazing teacher! She always makes me laugh over the littlest things. She knows what she is talking about and is willing to help students out. You MUST attend class, especially because she has a small quiz at the beginning of every class, but they aren't too bad. She doesn't give a ton of homework, just a few questions each time. :)

Grace is a great teacher. She has the coolest accent in the world which I know I will miss, it also helps you pay attention in class. She is very clear on what you need to do to get a good grade. Show up, do your 15 minute homework, study at least 3 hours for each of the four exams, and you'll love the class.

I would highly recommend Grace for statistics and research methods for anyone! Her classes are well organized and you know what is required to get an A. There is quite a bit of work in the research methods class, but not difficult work. Study for the exams, and attend class and you will learn and have fun at the same time.
