Graham is one of my favourite profs!!! He posts all notes online, gives you study questions, interesting textbook, reasonable marker-gives you everything you need to do well! Can tell he cares and puts in effort, overall stand-up guy, funny and knowledgable! Love all courses I've taken with him, really considering minoring in Soc bc of him!!

Graham is fantastic! All his assignments are extremely fairly marked, and he had great midterms and finals. Would 100% recommend him to anyone that asked. Super passionate about his subject as well as teaching!

Graham is an amazing teacher, he definitely loves what he does. He will help you as much as you need and if he doesn't have office hours he will meet with you anyways. Very accommodating and well organized lectures.

Graham is great. His lectures are straight-forward and easy to follow. He is also very open to your opinions. Although, I didn't do as well as I hoped (due to slacking on both exams.. my fault, of course), I would take his class again.

Graham is a funny and engaging prof, really seems like he cares about his students and wants them to succeed in his class and onto the rest of their careers. Be ready to do ALL the readings and (abstract) web questions, his exams are tough and pull from a lot of stuff only covered in the text. Great guy, though his exams don't reflect that at all.

Awesome teacher! I learned a lot in class and was able to focus and really absorb the material because he's such a great teacher. He has a great sense of humour and has some really funny dorky jokes. Absolutely adored this teacher!

Graham Cook is great though a bit boring sometimes. Do the study sheets he puts online and you'll do well on his tests. He's very knowledgeable and is happy to answer questions during class. We had 3 papers to write and he marked them all fairly easy. Low class average for some reason, guess some people expected to coast through this class

Nice enough, but he is a highbrow movie geek and tends to brag about seeing all these foreign/French films from the 1940s which is annoying. There is a lot of reading in the course and studying for the tests are time consuming because the definitions are scattered and not clear in the text. Fine teacher though and I would recommend the course.

Absolutely love Graham. He's probably one of my fav profs ever. Funny, engaging, and always willing to help and easy to talk to. I've enjoyed every single class. Totally recommend him. Also, compared to other textbooks from other classes, I'd say this one is a way nicer read.

Graham is a very friendly prof and very approachable. Total movie buff. Hint: The web questions he posts on Moodle are pretty much what he makes the whole short answer section on tests out of. He is also a pretty generous marker. If you read the text, missing a few classes won't hurt you.

i can't believe the comments on here aren't more positive! Graham is an awesome teacher, incredibly helpful, and really pretty funny. i actully went to every class which is a first forme since i started at cap.i wound up with a really good grade because i did most of the reading and paid attention in class. i highly recommend his classes.
