Keeps up interest during lectures. Gives you all the information you need to pass. Very fair grader. Advice, take your answers a little further than you might think.

DO NOT TAKE if you can avoid it. We had no grade the entire semester, only 1 test give and he never graded it & even gave it to us TWICE. Blended/split class, class time was a waste. I didn't learn a THING for my IS major. Ended with a group project and I guess whatever you got on that assignment was your grade for the class! No clear rubric.

Worst professor that I've had personally. Don't email him assignments, even if he says to, he won't find it, turn in all assignments as a hard copy. He didn't put my first test grade in until there were 3 weeks left in the semester. I went to his office to ask what I should be studying for the final and he just told me to read the book we never use

He is probably one of the most difficult professors to understand. Probably 80% of the students in there didnt understand what he taught. A lot of his lectures seem unorganized and not tied to what was suppose to be taught. He asked a lot if difficult questions to presenter and puts them on spot. Goodluck guysss.

He is the worst professor I have ever had, by far. This man and his class are the most vaguest things I have encountered. If I was you I would avoid him at all costs, I am struggling to maintain a B in his course.

This is a confusing class. 100% lecture, no PP or supplemental materials used in class. He is slow to load projects/grades/assignments onto Blackboard. I'm still not sure what the expectations were for this class, or what the grading criteria are. Be prepared to do it all on yourself, with minimal guidance.

He can be very confusing but all in all a good professor. He will keep you the whole class period lecturing. His lectures are all over the place.

You must be able to learn on your own. He gave the same lecture 3 times throughout the class. He gives a big curve which made the class pretty easy.

He seems tough at first and not very clear. You have to do a lot of learning on your own. He can be vague at times, however the assignments he gives will help you understand. He also will grade on a curve so that helps.

If you aren't an IS major in their senior year, DO NOT enroll in this class. You are expected to already know Analysis and Business Statistics, even though it is not a prerequisite. Don't bother asking questions if you're confused; you won't get any help. Not an "easy" class. We opened the book 3 times.

Professor Alexander was difficult to understand because he is so educated on the topic while I am completely uneducated on it. He never once replied to any of my emails all semester, so if you need help go to the office hours.

Mr. Alexander is the best IS Professor. I would take him over and over again! He wants you to think outside the box. The negative feedback here is wrong. He is helpful even outside of his class. Thank you Mr. Alexander !

He does tend to ramble. He talks about the same thing over and over, but I think it's more trying to make sure that everyone understands it. He is funny and entertaining, but his tests are very vague and hard. They are 2-3 essay questions, every test. If you pay attention you should be ok. Almost no homework assignments, all class discussion.

The professor truly cares about his students. He makes sure you understand what he is talking about before he moves on. All the negative feedback on here had me scared to even take the class. In the end, it was probably the best class of the semester. Do the work, go to class, and don't complain. He is preparing you for the IS work world.

Worst teacher I've ever had. He would just google things to talk about. One of our questions on our final was "How many ridges are on a quarters." There were several more riddles on the final and other tests that he didn't tell us about. He also lost didn't post several assignments that I found in my sent mail box to him! He is a disgrace to NSU.
