I think he still cares about students, just has a really hard time interacting. He curves the grade alot so you will think you are doing poorly, but as long as you make a good effort you will pass. The most Honest, accurate, and scientific teaching on molding I have ever heard. Better than even a RJG class IMO.

Those who say he has given up on students are being honest. I like his lectures, and I learned a ton from him. He can teach material well, but his tests are just seeing if students can regurgitate exact words, otherwise he will grade the correct idea as wrong. Results in rampant cheating off old tests. He doesnt care if people actually comprehend

If you can manage to write down every word of every ppt slide and then commit them to memory, you'll do well on the tests. Otherwise, be prepared to be frustrated by his tests. Also, you'll have to chase him down for help in lab, and even when you catch him, he isn't much help. One of the most frustrating professors I've ever had.
