If you struggle with math DO NOT take his class. He is nice, But if math is not your strong suite you will NOT follow the lectures.I am struggling right now and was on the Dean's list last quarter. Just let this serve as your "I told you so.". He also uses essay questions on all midterms.Hey I already passed ENG 111 with 98%, Thanks, But NO THANKS!

I wouldn't really recommend this teacher if you are not strong in math. He talks in his own "math language" and is hard to follow. His tests are pretty hard and even though you may prepare on MyMathLab you still may not do well on the test. On a positive note he is prompt with getting back with emails and is good about giving partial credit on test

Do not take his class. I am wondering if some of these people had the same guy as me. He made you feel stupid if you asked a question. he would refuse to go over stuff he went over the week before even when you said you were confused. He is a jerk and I would never recommend him to anyone. Well maybe someone I hate. :)

His main problem is lack of lecturing skills; his lectures are often unclear. He forgets to tell you about the basics only to reiterate them later when everyone's gotten the same stuff wrong. He wants to be helpful and is a good guy, but you will need to rely on the book heavily to understand material. Grading is clear, just tests, hw and final

He's nerdy and tells corny jokes, but that's honestly what I expect from a math professor. He's happy to help during his office hours or after class, which is good because his lectures can be unclear. Make sure you do your practice problems, and beware, he likes essay questions, so know your properties!

Good teacher, very helpful during office hours. Like every other math class, plan on attending or you will be behind. If you do the suggested homework, pay attention and take notes you'll do fine. Tests are fair and clear, one time I was confused on the wording of a question and got the problem wrong, I explained to him and he changed the grade.

His lectures are easy to understand and helpful. He gives assigned homework which you do well on as long as you do the suggested homework. His tests are fair and he tells you what will be covered before hand. I like that the grade is not just on tests. He also takes homework questions first thing in class. I will look for his classes in the future.

This is a tough class, but his examples outline the section well. He does several homework questions the students pick before class everyday,and there is a review day before each exam where he works whatever problem you want. He is also helpful during his office hours. He spent over an hour the other day reteaching me trig since it's been awhile.

He messed up my GPA. I wished I never took his class. He teaches math asif it is english. He gives no exam review, and set questions he never thought in the class. He talked in an unusual voice. He is not the best teacher. I ate my own hair to get a B grade in his class.

he is extremely irresponsible and lack of charisma needed to be an efficient instructor. his in-class illustration is shallow at best, the problems he demonstrates for us for each new section are lacking of depth. he is very hard to approach. here is my advise...DON'T TAKE HIS CLASS!!!!!
