He is a GREAT teacher! He is passionate about his subject and it kept me interested. The class is something you need to study for if you want an A. He makes it easy. He posts his lectures online and an outline of the notes that were done in class. Its important that you go to class, you wont make an a with his lecture notes alone. He is really fun!

He is the most AMAZING professor I have ever had! The lectures are easy to understand and he keeps you entertained the entire time. I came into this class dreading having to take it but now it is my favorite class. I am so upset that he is leaving to become the dean. I wish everyone could have a professor like this!

GREAT teacher. Don't miss out on taking this professor. His lectures from his BIO 1406 are easy to understand and he keeps you entertained the whole way through with a great sense of humor. Not much homework. Just mainly quizzes and tests. Tests are right from the lecture notes. Offers lots of resources to help you study for tests.

DR. Phillips is the best teacher I've ever had! He's very helpful, nice, funny, and he makes the 3 hour class go by fast. He makes biology very interesting and enjoyable. It was a privilege to be in his class! Everyone should have him as a biology teacher!!

The most amazing biology teacher you could EVER have the privilege to take. His lectures are very clear but pay attention to every word! It will be on the test. Test are multiple choice/fill in the blank/essay. They are a little difficult but that's what college is about, right? Made an A+ in the class and definitely worked for it. TAKE HIM!

Dr. Phillips is a great teacher! Make sure you study the notes for the tests and all charts and you will do fine. The course is very demanding and hard but he will try his best to explain everything. You have lab every class period but they are easy but learn the methods! Work hard in this class and a high B or A is achievable.

Literally the best teacher I've had in my life. He is super intelligent and explains everything so clearly. He uses real life examples to help you relate to the lesson. He's a longhorn with a double major in bio and chem. I'm in love basically.
