The most rediculous teacher I have ever taken at LMU. He would bring us cookies that was the only cool thing. He left LMU becuse he didnt get his program that he wanted to bring to LMU. Dont let the door hit ya on the way out!!!

I took his class a year ago.My conclusion is connected to his "self":self-conscious, self-indulgent, and selfish. A true artist is humble by his gift and his arrogance killed the fact that he's a talented writer and teacher at all. More concerned about his casino than helping his students.Hopefully, the Eng dept will find a better teacher/writer.

The first time I took this man...loved him...but then again, it was my FIRST grad class at LMU. THEN...my latter dealings with him made me change my tune. He may be a brillian writer...doesn't mean he's a brilliant teacher. Only has ONE hour a week to meet with you and if you can't make it, well tough. Teaching at times seems to be a low priority on his totem pole and he can be quite arrogant as well. Needs to come down off the high horse and then, THEN, he'd be a GREAT teacher instead of so-so.

I didn't try, but I learned a lot. Never gave me a hard time for being the ONLY person not to contribute. A little effort and cooperation will benefit student tremendously.

He is a bit of a pain in the ass but you will learn a lot about writing from him. He knows his****. although he does get very into himself at times, He is mildly worth the pain.

Easy, but his inflated ego leads to favoritism, as well as exhibiting an impatient arrogance when it comes to assisting students during his limited office hour(s). If you want an easy A, go for it. However, you won't learn anything from him.

Greatest teacher ever to walk the face of the earth. Doesn't like jackasses in his class and you need to keep up with stuff. Has a ton of cool stories. Should be cannonized...
