Very helpful to students who help themselves. He is 100% unbiased and allows you to state your opinion without fear of being judged or berated. Very smart man. I hope to have him again later.

Comment:

Really good at presenting differing viewpoints convincingly. Readings were difficult sometimes, but he broke it down pretty well in class, and the tests came straight from notes and in-class discussion, so studying was pretty easy. Fair grader on the 4-5 tests, but tough on the 5-page paper. You also need to do a presentation, but that's easy.

Dr. Streich has the best attitude of any professor I have ever met. He shows up to class every day with a smile and cracks a few jokes. Usually government courses don't interest me, but his passion for the subject is contagious. You'll leave class every day debating whether or not you should change your major to Political Science! Loved it!

I took this class as a freshman and did terrible. Taking it again now as a senior I find that he is a great professor, I am doing much better. If you pay attention in class it is very straight forward. I chose to retake it with him because I wanted to rove it wasn't him that made me do poorly the first time.

Professor Streich is such an amazing professor!! He is very wonderful at what he teachers and is well-informed about history and politics. I believe he engages students so well about topics that most students may not ever think or consider. I recommend Professor Streich!

Daily lectures are informative and are at a college level. Come to class, take notes on the powerpoints, you'll do fine. However, never opened the book for the class. Very knowledgeable, and very helpful. If I wasn't graduating this weekend, I'd take another one of his classes next semester.

Dr. Streich is REALLY NICE. This class was so EASY. You use an iClicker to answer questions and then you take notes. I did not buy a book for this class, you don't need it. Just come to class and take notes. Plus HELLA extra credit.

After studying at a University of Central Missouri for undergrad and then going to pursue a Master's Degree, I would say that Dr. Streich was one of the most truly objective teachers I've ever had. He truly likes to give a genuine understanding of each topic he covers as if he were supportive of it himself. Outstanding professor to take.

Very good instructor! He knows the material and relates it to current events. He does a great job of making the class interesting. The class is test basd and if you do not pay attention in class and take notes you may have a hard time as he uses the book very little. I would reccommend him to anyone who is considering his class!!

it is a test based class, so if you are not good at tests don't take him. I wish I would have known that. only 2 extra credit oppurtunties. if you get stuck in his class and are struggling email him and have meetings with him. they are very helpful and he lets you do more extra credit then other students.

Very easy and interesting class. I enjoyed my time in this class and received the highest grade on every test so I would say it is pretty easy. He takes attendance and is a nice person. He is good a teaching and I would take any class he offered if it was my major.

Very nice, and funny teacher. Cares about his student. makes sure every student has a chance to do the extra credit. so many opportunities for extra credit. I am not good at governement, but he helps you understand it better. You take lots of notes, so keep that in mind.

I had him for american Government, it was just alecture class. We had extra credit that helped in teh end. We take 4 tests (one being the final) pretty easy class and pretty good teacher!
