He's a very... eccentric guy. He's very nice though and I like his class for the most part. He's funny and will explain something if a student doesn't understand. Maybe I only like him so much because my high school Spanish teacher was a B-word, but I like him a lot nonetheless. He knows so much about Spanish culture and whatnot!

he is crazy!!! a lil odd...but he grows on you.hes soo funny and entertaining. spanish isnt my best subject but i pulled off a B and as long as you do his assignments how he wants them done and you put forth effort your good to go!

I personally liked Dr. Courtad. The key to Dr. Courtad is to do EXACTLY what is on the assignment sheet, do the assignment and after you're done with it and before you turn it in, TAKE IT TO HIM TO FIND THE ERRORS. He WILL correct the mistakes for you and all you have to do is rewrite the assignment and turn it in. How easy is that???

Very unclear about his expectations on exams and projects..which is all his class is. You play games in class like Battleship and do skits...you don't go over vocab. I feel I learned more in the study session with the teacher's assistant than I did the whole semester of this class...would not suggest taking him if you are not serious about Spanish
