Great professor, great class! Go to every class and participate. READ READ READ the newspapers!!! A bunch of little group projects and presentations. Take home exams were easy and had extra credit. He gives really good feedback on all presentations and projects. Definitely an easy SI & WI course.

I am interested in directing but haven't ever done it. I loved this class because it was a mix of talking about it and doing it. It was hard, especially getting rehearsal time but I could see how I improved during the semester. Gregg was encouraging, strict, and offered so much advice. I really wish I had taken it sooner. It is an awesome class!

I wrote down everything Gregg said in class. Every time he spoke there was so much to learn. He challenged us to be better and always made us feel like we could do it. I have never worked so hard, learned so much, and thought more about a class than I did this semester. I am still thinking about it. Life, acting, theatre. All in one class.

I learned more in this acting class than in any other class I have taken. Sometimes his critique stings, but it pushes me to work harder and be the best I can be. I want to do this when i leave school so I need honest feedback about my work. I wish I could take another acting class with Gregg before I graduate.

Gregg is a FANTASTIC professor. He is extremely passionate about theatre and will work with you. He is a little intimidating but if you can get past that you will learn a LOT from him. The theatre classes that Gregg teaches are not easy a classes and aren't good for gen eds but you will LOVE them and him.

Learned so much in this class. Read the book and listen in class....he doesn't go over a lot in the book because he wants to use class time to give examples and explanations of the material. Be prepared to participate. At the end of the semester, I couldn't believe how much I knew about something I never thought would interest me.

I thought he was crazy how much he expected of us and then one day I was expecting it of myself. I understood that I was the person I had to please and not him or my friends. I learned more about acting in six weeks than I have in two years of classes. He's honest and that can hurt but I know it is the only way we get better. The best there is.

What I loved about being directed by him was the fact that I learned about the play, the theatre, myself, and life. He connects it all even when he is demanding every ounce of everything you have. I realized that I had to give a lot in the process if I was going to get better. If you work hard, you will leave the show a different person. A genius.

More wisdom & passion in his little finger than most professors have in their entire bodies. He will be one of those people (/profs) you will remember forever. Fantastic director. Sarcastic & funny as hell. Plays favorites with those who bring something to the table - which is not a bad thing.

Best professor at UMW hands down. Take a class if you have even the slightest interest in theatre. I've found there's moments when I thought he was being an ass... Only to realize he was actually making me think harder. Gee wiz... A professor who cares? Whoda thunk.

Amazing! I had absolutely NO interest in Theatre Management prior to this class, but somehow, it makes it all incredibly interesting & comprehensible. MUST takes notes, MUST participate. Very funny, very intelligent, & it's obvious he enjoys the subject.

I learned so much in this class and am still learning after the class ended. Gregg is demanding, but approachable and expects everyone to work hard. I worked harder than I ever do in classes and I got better as the semester went on. Gregg can criticize your work so that you can improve without making you feel like you are stupid or untalented.

this man knows just about anybody involved in D.C. theatre, so you can learn a lot from him and if you get on his good side and become one of his favorites he can hook you up, but he does tend to play favories.

I have never worked so hard and learned so much in one class. The group projects were difficult to organize but totally supported what we were learning. It's true you have to be responsible for the work, but in the end you learn by doing. Prof. Stull is so smart and understands the world of theatre like no one else. Don't miss this class.

Amazing. Don't take this course unless you want to work hard and get better at what you do. He is tough, yet understanding. He is passionate about theatre and expects students to work as hard as he does. This course taught me about acting, about life and about myself. I cannot wait for the next class.
