10 years of reviews for him, and nothing has changed. New course he's never taught previously. No textbook. Notes printouts provided made by Dr. Ray. Notes examples too easy. This guy is a joke. He is completely unprepared for class, his lectures are worthless, he does not answer students valid questions/concerns via email, constantly changes the grading scale, he has scheduled 2 exams and cancelled day off without notifying anyone so everyone wasted their time. Tests are unfair and unclear. I Will never take him again!

I had his Mathematica. He's passionate about teaching and helping students, but he doesn't know how to teach and communicate with them. Many guys come to class to play game, so they're at fault for bad grade. But I do agree that his test in its limited time is tough if not almost impossible.

he sucks. every time i walk into his class i throw up a little in my mouth. avoid this guy if you can. useless info and imposible to get an earned grade. he has no organization and the tests are so outragious you'll give up after the first problem. his grades at the end of the class come straight from his ass.

WOW this guy is worthless. He just blindly throws a grade out there at the end of the class. Ray does know his stuff, but he is the most disorganized speaker and very hard to follow. The class is stupid because it overviews Calc II and Diff Eq. on a computer program. Most MET students will never have taken those courses and be totally lost.

Ray definitly knows his stuff, but that doesnt help at all. He is very hard to follow, a poor speaker and very disorganized. His grading system is also unfair as the tests are near impossible. During lecture he tells you what will be on the tests, but then they are completlely different. He even lost part of my completed. Avoid this guy if you can.
