i have to honestly say, in a three hour class, i learn maybe 2 facts at MOST....the rest is Gunther just rambling about things that happened in the past, or that he thinks happened in the past...but he's easy as all crap

He reminded me of why I wanted to go to film school to begin with. He didn't overdo it with assignments, and he didn't have his hands in everything - he was there if we needed help, and gone when we didn't. As a side note - he also had some great Oscar parties =)

He shows you a lot of example but with old and current films. He's always willing to answer questions. Great class. He doesn't give a lot of tests and when he does there take home. Really easygoing. The only thing is that outside of class he can be very difficult to find.
