Professor Narbonne is the love of my life. He will run across a room to demonstrate how lungs work and show you pictures of his kids in the lecture slides. He is so passionate and he was the reason I chose to major in geology. He posts really good summed up notes that you can print off and bring to class to annotate, a fun and easy class.

He was an amazing prof! Super passionate about the subject which made things a lot more interesting. All the final exams questions are similar/the same as previous years which are all on exam bank, but I still found the lectures both important and interesting. Labs were easy, and he joins in during the last of each lab at the end of term. Nice dude

Very nice and understanding. He's so cute, and actually cares a lot about the students and special needs. The labs are annoying but they're interesting, easy to do well in and not worth that much. No homework. Says the lectures are very important but they're not. All the exam and midterm questions are from previous years so it's easy to do well.

His lectures cover interesting material, his labs are hands on and very interesting (you actually get to see and touch million year old fossils)! And lecture notes for every class are provided online. Enroll in this class ASAP!

While GEOL 107 wasn't necessarily my favourite course ever taken, it is so clear that Professor Narbonne both LOVES to teach and LOVES geology. He is so passionate about what he teaches that it almost helps you learn because you become equally as passionate.

Narbonne is a GOD, seriously. His lectures are SUPER interesting, his notes are clear, and the material is quite easy. His exams are fair and the labs are super easy. Great mark-boosting class, although you DO have to put some work into memorizing - but it's well worth it!

Incredible Class, Incredible Professor, I highly recommend taking this class. On a side note you do have to work, Narbonne puts a lot of effort into his lectures and his research, don't expect to slide through this course. If you put in some work you'll get a decent mark. Be aware there are three separate 3 hour labs that are mandatory.

Not only the best professor I've ever had, but probably the best teacher. He knows and has a passion for what he is teaching, and was almost always available for discussion after class. Some people say he's a bit full of himself; I say he should be. He's a renowned geologist and an amazing professor to boot
