I was at Missouri State for 3 years and was involved in choir all 3 years. Dr. Webb was a great teacher and became a great personal friend. He was a fair but firm director. Do your job and then you won't have any problems

Dr.Webb is fantastic. I didn't like him at first, but the old man grows on yOU. He is very picky about things and how they are done, but there is a reason the choirs are great. He is quite funny most days if it is a good rehearsal but do not miss choir. Also, don't expect him to remember your name unless you do something he likes or are in chorale.

Dr. Webb is truly an expert in his field. However, he is old, not very observant, very forgetful, and sometimes a bit annoying. His teaching assistants are nice though. You will learn a lot.

Dr. Webb was an absolutely horrible teacher. I couldn't stand his class and he played so many favorites. If you are not in Concert Corale, then you might as well expect to be treated like dirt. He went as far as to tell our choir that he didn't trust us with the words of the song so we couldn't sing them. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!

I'm a girl and he called me Derek... and I'm a girly girl too. He'll forget about you as well at times. He's just getting kind of old i guess. REALLY great knowledge of vocal techniques though

He's amazing! Everything I learn from him I will take with me. It's a complete honor to sing under his direction. Dr. Webb does have his favorites and mostly those are people who work very hard, sociable, chorale style voice and know their music. He's a softie though and even those who don't work hard he still loves them. Most rewarding experience
