Doesn't do a very good job of preparing students for the field of counseling. Doesn't model the principles himself. a bit snide and even sarcastic. Pedantic humor. Overall an unpleasant and all too easy experience for a grad class. Richness, authenticity and depth are preferable to multiple choice at this level. Easy A.

I absolutely loved this class!! Dr. Ersever has been one of my most favorite professors here at Appalachian! You will definitely learn SO much and he makes things fun, interesting, and applicable to the real world. Never a dull moment! And he really cares about his students. He WANTS his students to learn and do well in the class!

I really enjoyed his class, and would highly suggest him to anyone! His class was not "easy" but very entertaining and informative. He is more than willing to help if you have problems and really seems to care about all of his students. One of my favorite teachers!

Awesome teacher, puts a lot of effort into his class. Lots of movie clips and powerpoints to keep the class interesting. Also has a good sense of humor. Most exams are take home essay questions, but he does grade them strictly so you must do your work.

This guy is awesome. He is HILARIOUS and by far my favorite professor in my 3 years here so far. Makes class fun but you watch a LOT of videos. Just tests and attendance and tests aren't hard. TAKE HIM if you get the opportunity. You won't regret it :)

Dr Ersever was a really good teacher. He never really went by the book...the class usually decided what we were going to talk about for the day. The tests are very easy. He dropped our lowest test grade...after he had added extra credit to each of them.

Doctor Ersever is a wondeful teacher. He does understand that sometimes a student is struggling with any pressusres. He is very willing to help out. I was blessed to have him for two my psychology classes. I gained a good understanding in the field. Thank you, Dr.Khakan. I will miss you.
